The Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver is pleased to present Ihirama (Drought), a solo exhibition by Yanomami artist Sheroanawe Hakihiiwe. The exhibition brings together recent drawings and prints that translate indigenous knowledge systems and ecological observations into contemporary visual language.

Hakihiiwe's practice is rooted in the Yanomami worldview, where the natural environment is understood as a living, interconnected system. His works document plant species, celestial patterns, and seasonal cycles, creating a visual archive of traditional ecological knowledge.
